XBH DTF Ink | Works on Cotton, Polyester, Canvas, Nylon & Most Textile Materials
Brand XBH
Product origin CHINA
Delivery time 3-7 Working Days
Transfers made with this ink bond to cotton, polyester, canvas, nylon, blends, and most porous textile surfaces. No pretreating needed on cotton — unlike DTG printing. The adhesive powder does the bonding. Suitable for T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, aprons, hats, and promotional textile products.

A: The white ink layer in the CMYKW set IS the base. You print white under the colors, then apply adhesive powder. After transfer, the white layer sits between the fabric and the CMYK colors, making them opaque on black cotton. No additional fabric pretreatment needed.
A: DTF on polyester can experience dye migration — where the polyester fabric dye bleeds through into the print — especially under high heat. Use lower temperature (150°C) and shorter press time. Test a sample first. Polyester blends with 50%+ cotton are the most reliable.
A: Canvas works beautifully with DTF. The tight weave takes the transfer well, and the ink colors stay vibrant on the natural fabric surface. Cotton canvas is the most common. Avoid waxed or treated canvas, which prevents adhesive bonding.
A: Yes, DTF transfers apply to most hat fabrics including cotton twill and polyester blends. Use a heat press with a hat attachment or a hand iron on a hard surface. Press firmly and evenly. Hat printing is a profitable niche because screen printing on curved surfaces is difficult.
A: Very hydrophobic surfaces like treated nylon rain jackets, waterproof fabrics, or silicone-coated materials. The adhesive needs a porous surface to grip. Stretch fabrics with high spandex content may work, but test first. Synthetic leather and vinyl are not ideal for standard DTF.
